A Look Back at 2013

What a year! As 2013 comes to an end, we look back on all our achievements, events and fun-filled times, and we look ahead to more of the same in 2014! Here are a few highlights from the year:

We Worked to Make a Difference

We strive to make a difference for our candidates, clients and community. In fact, it’s our mission statement: “By placing our team, clients, and associates first, every day we make a difference.”

We’ve placed thousands of people into direct-hire and temporary jobs, and we aim to help those we haven’t placed by offering them valuable job search insight and resources.  We want to help everyone achieve success.

For clients, whether it’s through talent recruitment and retention or flexible workforce outsourcing and management, we provide workforce business solutions to help our clients achieve business outcomes.

We believe it is our responsibility to give back to the community, and as a Chicago-based company, we do just that. Throughout 2013 our team participated in the Cara Program’s Golf Classic, we donated $50,000 to the Chicago Public Library Foundation, held fundraising events for our partner charities, and volunteered.

In the middle of working hard, we also had a few fun times! Our holiday party was an amazing time, our 25th anniversary party atop the Tribune Tower was a great way to celebrate, we had a Halloween costume contest, and just dressed up for fun (see Downers Grove Bears outfits

Advanced Superstars

We launched HR division –  In April we launched our newest division – Human Resources! Our HR division excels in staffing, among many other positions, HR Generalists, Talent Acquisition Professionals, Compensation Managers, and HR Managers and Directors. Throughout the year we exhibited at and attended top industry trade shows such as SHRM and HRMAC. We look forward to building on our success in 2014!

We added new members to our leadership team:

Dan Bovee is our Division Director for our Finance division  

Paul Trudeau is our Managing Director for our Western Region.
