Gallup has estimated that 70% of employees are not engaged, and U.S. businesses lose $11 billion annually due to employee turnover. What is it that causes this issue to be so rampant? A study by Dale Carnegie Training showed that the number one factor influencing engagement vs. disengagement was “relationship with immediate supervisor.”
