How are you doing on your New Year's Resolution? Sixty-four percent of people keep their resolutions past one month. Forty-six percent keep their resolutions past six months. If you're still going strong, good for you! If you feel like you're falling behind, now's the time to pick it up again. It takes 21 days to form a new habit.
If you have one of the more common resolutions, it may be easier than you think to get back on track. Do you want to lose weight? Check in with your HR or benefits department to see if the company has any discounts for gym memberships or weight loss programs. If not, take charge and start a fitness challenge in your office!
Is your goal to get organized? Break down your goal into manageable chunks. At work, start small by decluttering your desk. Then move to organizing your email box by creating folders and tags. At home, start with one closet and then move to the next (but keep going, don't stop after cleaning just one closet/area of the house!).
Do you want to learn something new this year? Check out your local parks department for dance classes or your local recreation center for classes ranging from pottery to making fishing lures. Dabble.co has a variety of classes catering to a variety of interests.
Whatever your resolution is, take time now to do a check-in on your progress. Take steps to be one of the 46% of people who keep their resolutions past six months!
