Bob has over 15 years of experience in the areas of corporate accounting, financial analysis, operational accounting, department management and staff development.
Additional experience:
- Responsible for writing all internal and external reports using Oracle FSG and Excel interface tools, such as GL Wand and ADI
- Represented financial reporting during the successful upgrade and implementation of Oracle R12
- Managed Oracle GL module, successfully creating internal controls and reporting efficiencies
- Identified root cause of A/R, A/P and GL system issues and resolved by analyzing and automating processes through Oracle functionality, such as validation rules and aliases
- Managed general ledger chart of accounts ensuring new cost centers, departments, companies and accounts are mapped correctly on all financial reports
- Approved all journal entries and account reconciliations
- Performed cost benefit analysis of claims management service provider programs to monitor their performance and implement changes to program when necessary
- Responsible for high risk accounting and implementation of new internal controls
- Experience working in SAP and Oracle
