Salman Senior Accountant/Senior Financial Analyst
Salman is a recent graduate from the University of Notre Dame with a Master of Science degree in Finance, and planning to sit for his CPA. He has experience working with mid size to large organizations on process improvements, implementations, restatements, and more.
Additional experience:
- Heavy experience within month end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, forecasting/budgeting/review, fixed assets, sales and use tax, and expense administration
- Participated in the creation of spreadsheets to reduce errors and time for reconciliations
- Led a team of 5 for a restatement project for 7 years
- Financial Model Creation for monthly reporting and metrics analysis
- GL Lead for the implementation of JD Edwards and its supporting modules
- Software expertise includes: SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Hyperion, Maximo, SAGE Fixed Assets, BI/BW
- Excel skills include macros
